What's Inside

Jewish connection, created for curious little hands

The Pomegranate Post helps children explore Jewish life through mail they can open, activities they can do, and traditions they can share.

Throughout the Jewish year, club members receive handcrafted envelopes filled with stickers, creativity, discovery, and meaningful ways to connect with other people.

During the months between physical mailings, families receive printable activities designed to continue the experience away from a screen.

It begins with a welcome envelope

Every child receives a special welcome envelope within two weeks of joining the club.

The welcome experience introduces the child to The Pomegranate Post and reminds them of three important things:

You belong to the Jewish people.

Being Jewish is joyful and special.

There is always more for you to discover.

Through stickers, art, and an inviting activity, the first envelope explores Jewish belonging and the value of helping others feel welcome.

After receiving the welcome envelope, the child joins the regular mailing cycle and receives the next upcoming holiday envelope.

Holiday envelopes throughout the year

Physical envelopes arrive approximately every two months and help children experience Jewish holidays through creativity, celebration, and connection.

Each mailing is different, but children can look forward to a thoughtful mixture of:

The structure is consistent enough to feel familiar while leaving plenty of room for surprise.

Celebrating the Jewish year

Pomegranate Post envelopes introduce children to the tastes, sounds, symbols, stories, and traditions of the Jewish year.

The first seasonal envelope will bring Rosh Hashanah and Sukkot together through themes of sweetness, celebration, gathering, and sharing New Year wishes.

Later envelopes will explore Hanukkah, Shabbat, Purim, Pesach, Shavuot, and other opportunities to experience Jewish joy and connection.

The goal is not simply to teach children about a holiday. It is to give them something meaningful they can create, enjoy, and share as part of their own Jewish lives.

Every envelope creates connection

Each physical mailing includes an activity that encourages the child to connect with another person.

A child might:

These activities do not assume that the child has Jewish relatives, Jewish friends, or a nearby Jewish community. Every child can find accessible ways to experience and share Jewish life.

Printable activities in between

During months without a physical envelope, printable activities are sent by email.

These may include:

Although the activities arrive by email, they are created to be printed and enjoyed away from a screen.

Each digital mailing offers something to create, something to discover, and something that encourages connection.

Thoughtfully made by hand

Pomegranate Post mailings are created in small batches rather than mass-produced.

The stickers, letters, art prints, and activities are printed, cut, assembled, and packed by hand. Every envelope is prepared with care before being mailed directly to the child.

This hands-on approach makes each mailing feel personal and special from the moment it arrives.

Created for children ages four through ten

The Pomegranate Post is designed for children from late preschool through approximately fifth grade.

Activities are flexible enough for younger children to enjoy with help while older children can read, write, and create more independently.

The experience is not intended to feel like schoolwork. It is playful, inviting, and designed to help Jewish life feel personal.

Giving The Pomegranate Post as a gift

The Pomegranate Post can be given by a parent, grandparent, relative, family friend, or anyone who wants to help a Jewish child feel connected.

Gift-givers can include a personal message and will receive email notifications when physical mailings are sent.

Every envelope is addressed directly to the child, giving them the delight of receiving something created especially for them.

Each club membership is for one child. A separate membership is needed for each child who will receive an individually addressed envelope.
